Car Stalls And Shuts down on Reverse
Hi,
I have an Automatic E220 W211 2004 with 185000 Km on it. Recently, there is a new problem. Whenever the car gets hot (90-100 degrees) and i put the car in reverse, the engine starts to stall and lose RPM. Pressing the accelerator usually prevents shutting down of the engine but sometimes even that doesn't help and the vehicle shuts down. This only happens when the vehicle is stopped and i put on reverse gear. There are no issues whatsoever in forward gear.
