Harmon Kardon system cutting out intermittently.
I have an '03 E320 "Sport" with a Harmon Kardon sound system , no GPS. The sound has started to cut out intermittently for a few seconds about every 10 - 30 seconds. I does this whether I'm listening to radio or CD. I assume it is either the head unit or the amp (perhaps a loose wire or optical cable). Has anyone dealt with this problem before?

You can diagnose by configuring minimum MOST ring (COMAND and AGW only) using bridge, part # 0005454484 this will definitevely diagnose amp if fine then move on to isolating remaining devices individually. If you rather not diagnose MOST loop by isolating devices you can cut to the chase and replace amp (most common problem) in trunk - your call.
