What part is this?

Hello

I have has some trouble lately with a clonking sound from the front of the car when I drive over small bumps in low speeds. I thought it might be the inner tie rod but just by looking into the general area without lifting the car I saw a ball joint (?) that seems to be totally out. I can’t however not find matching pictures to identify the part, I found a great thread here about ball joints on W211 but that part looks different in that guide.

So the picture is taken from the the front looking towards the back of the car. I’m sorry about the ****ty pictures but I haven’t been able to lift the car yet.

This picture is angled a bit but zooms into the part that I think used to be a ball joint.

Torque spec?

I’ve ordered the part and will hopefully get it tomorrow but I can’t find any torque specs.

I have a repair manual from emanualonline but I can’t find this part in there, probably since it’s a 4matic part and my manual only partially supports 4matic.

So what do you guys think I should torque this to?
