2005 E320 CDI, 2011 ML350 4Matic
CDI Injector Seals
Hey guys, my 2005 CDI has just about 170K on it now and was wondering if I should replace the injector seals and bolts as a preventative maintenance thing. I had the cover off today to replace #6 glow plug and all of the injectors look clean as a whistle. Just don't know if they need to be done anyway. It's only about 30 bucks for the seals and bolts. Wanna keep this baby for a million miles.

Yes. It's a $20 kit to replace and anyone can do it. I paid $1500 to have 2 injectors replaced because I waited. I will never wait again.

I'm all about preventive maintenance, but i wouldn't touch the seals unless they develop a leak...
