Angry Lug nuts for spare?

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me the size on the lug nuts on a spare tire, (that is a donut) for a 2003 E320?

Got a flat the other day and AAA wouldn't change the tire because it was a donut and I do not have the proper lugs.

Who knows where they went after sixteen years!

Thank You
Dee

Did you check next the car tool bag?
The difference in length can't be bigger than few mm.
Stick your original bolt into normal wheel hole and measure how much it sticks on the inner side.
Than repeat with spare wheel and subtract the difference

I don't know about the W211, but the W210 spare wheel uses different lug bolts. If you use the ones for the regular wheel on the rear you'll tear up the parking brake assembly when using them with the spare tire. I don't know if there are any clearance issues up front.

If you have European wheel in 195 width.
I was putting 225mm tires in W211 and in wagon I had to remove some plastic lining.
On sedan I removed the plastic and trunk floor cover was still hanging on wheel about 3/4" above the floor. It did work eventually, but not idiot-proof.

225/55R16 full size spare fits perfectly in a sedan. Some markets got this kind of spare tire from the factory.

Floor sits flush.

And in the wagon again 225/55R16 is a perfect fit even with the 3rd row seat right above it. The trunk floor sits flush.

A regular tire fits in the hole where they have the spare (donut)?
I like that idea if it works, otherwise will not have any room in my trunk.

Will have someone try it out.

Thank You Very Much!
