Question Rear interior lamp not working

The rear interior roof lamp for passenger in my 04 w211 wagon have some problems i hope some can help..

Well the reading lamps in the rear lamp is working perfect but i cant get the interior light in passenger rear working, the light in the trunk is working perfect.

I have checked the bulb and i have try replacing the lamp, but still the rear cabin light will not work.. '

There is a flat 4 pin cable from the front interior lamp to the rar, any there can tell me which pin to test ?

And the motion sensor for the cabin is not working either.

i got these fault code
9022 Component e15/3 (rear interior lamp) has short or open circuit OR component e15/3 dome lamp has short circuit or open circuit.
90A0 communication error in serial communication interface to rear lamps and interior motion sensor: no communication echo on serial line.
90A5 the interior protection reports a fault in the glass breakage loop.

Hope some expert can give me some information to repair that annoying problem..
Thanks

Sorry to reopen this dead post,
but did OP find a solution to this problem?
I myself also have non working rear interior lights and non operative mood lightning at the back.
The reading lamps are working fine all the time.

Yesterday the lights started working again only to find out this morning they broke again -_-
The car also had the interior motion sensor and when the lights fail, the motion sensor also won't go up when unlocking the car.

All the rest of the interior lights work perfect! even the rain sensor etc is working as it should (or so I think anyway)

I had similar problem; for me it was the cable - this runs from the front overhead control panel. - I found that if I removed the cable from the rear interior roof light the codes stayed the same, but when I unplugged it from the front overhead control panel it reported the rear interior roof light unit as missing, so I suspected the cable an bought a new one from the dealer. They provided a different one as it has been upgraded. So far I've only fitted it between the front OCP and rear interior light unit it has fixed the lights, but there is another connection that I think goes to the glass break loop - but it fixed the lights...

Ceiling LTs :

pretty good thread to fix the ceiling circuit - Good reading 👍

I was just near my rear passenger ceiling LT and I have to revisit my OCP for a bad toggle LT switch.
