W211 Air conditioner doesnt work when IDLE?
In my E350 2007 the air conditioner stops working when car is idle during the day but it doesnt create much problem at night? i took it to the mechanic but he looked confused and told me to change the compressor. I doubt his intentions though. Can any expert help me out on this one? Will appreciate the response

P.S: the refrigerant has been changed a week ago and no leaks have been identified. Why i doubt compressor is because in faulty condition it should not blow cold air at all. Plus the car never heats up even if idle for long

I posted the link about milion times on forum.
Not too many W211 have climatronic with option for sensor reading, so you might need scanner for that, but reading the sensors 2 times,
-1st on cold morning before engine start will give sensors calibration
-2nd on hot afternoon after restarting hot car will show compressor performance.
