The fuel gauge comes on and works when it wants. I just replaced the sending unit with a brand new one on the left side of the tank and still no luck. I have so many DTC codes its Mind boggling! I've read every post that even slightly pertains to my issue.
Please help me get my gas guage working we are supposed to visit family out of town for Thanksgiving, but I will not go with the gas guage not working properly. It would be way to risky with our 2 year old. TY

Risky? Do you have a rough guess of how far you can go on a tank of fuel? A gas gauge is convenient, nothing more.
Fill the fuel tank, reset one of the trip meters to zero, drive happy. If you want to go crazy with it, fill up your tank again after 200 miles and reset the meter again. 200 miles is about as far as you can sanely go with a two year old anyway...
Sounds like the float is hung up on the internal fuel lines in the tank. You're gonna to have to open it up again. Until then, use the trip odometer figuring 20 mpg; max 420 miles per tank. Refuel every 300 miles and reset odometer each time you refuel. When "low fuel light" comes on you have four gallons of fuel remaining in the tank.

Thank you for your reply. I will open it back up and try and to free it up. Do you know what side sensor 2 is on? My wife said it's a no go for her if I dont get the fuel guage working. We live in western NY and we deal with fridgid temps. She does not want to temp it.

Sounds like you might just miss 15 years warranty?
If I understand the sides, the code is for jammed sensor on passenger side, so putting new unit on driver side is not going to fix it.
Still as members above suggest, driving by odometer is not a big deal, while getting 2.5 gallons can for emergency is also easy.
I've been researching about this issue for the past 5 days non stop and barely today I stumbled upon that warranty. My driver side sending unit had a puddle when the tank was full.🤦♂️🤦♂️ dollar short day late

Sounds like you might have accumulation of codes from life of the car.
Worry only about active or pending, while ignore stored. Best way is to clear them all and recheck after some driving.
Now on fuel tank, beware that saddle tank uses Venturi pump to transfer fuel from passenger butt to driver butt, where electric pump gets it to the engine.
When Venturi is misaligned and lot of people not familiar with it do that - you will not be able to use about 6 gallons of fuel that sits in passenger butt.
So before you sort it all out, better carry extra fuel in can.
I did align the two units back to where they were. I did use a paint marker pre removal to mark the exact position of each unit. 🤔🤔
I hate to sell it, but this has me stumped and my wife refuse to use it when we get below 0° weather here in western NY. Cant afford the stealership!!
I can try and buy the other side. I'm just wondering what side sensor 2 is? Going to pull another $300 out the bank for the passenger side fuel level sensor. Even tho the pump works perfectly

I went ahead and double checked if I aligned the sending unit back to where it was prior to and sure enough it was off a little. The guage is working correctly!! 😊😊 I turned it a little more towards the passenger side. I will monitor it for a few days of driving just to see if it is going back to being just sporadically working and report back in a few days!!
Did you ever pull passenger side sender?
The tank has 2 level sensors due to "saddle" design and that works with computer program, that gives you estimated fuel level.
