MOST Ring coding with SNAP ON SOLUS
hi guys,
so i added the VCS module and right now i'm holding off on using an official STAR/Xentry/SDS/wtf-ever to code my car because i have plans to add sat nav, and i'm waiting to get the correct mounting plate for the bluetooth puck (very hard to find for the sliding door armrest W211).
i noticed that this SOLUS device does have options for MOST ring coding if you go into the Audio Gateway->functional tests->Coding, but it doesn't work.
it actually let me specify what i want as my MOST ring master and everything, but it fails to send the coding to the vehicle.
i assume mercedes has some sort of protection enabled to stop these changes from being saved to the vehicle. anyone know how to get around this?
i was surprised this unit had the options but i guess i shouldn't be ("it's snap on").
