Clear overlay mats
Just received some clear overlay mats from http://www.stylinconcepts.com/?lc=toplogo
they are great. i would recommend them to anyone. they custom fit your car and ensures idiots with gum on their feet dont leave it on your mat.
runs around 60 bucks but worth it unless you prefer to spend 90 bucks every year or 2 to replace your mats. It rains a lot in Florida so i got those instead of the ugly weather mats MB has.

Many others here on the forum chose to do as you have. However you mentioned a custom fit and I would have expected protection for the dead pedal.

My thoughts exactly.
I also noted that they seem to protect from "wear and tear", and the occasional drop of rain; but they don't seem to be deep enough to hold dirt, mud, snow, or prevent any spillage from overlapping the edges onto the unprotected areas.
Nice fit though.
(I am also in the market for transparent mats, but I need more than just a vinyl covering.)

I use the Mercedes winter mats all year round.. They are easy to clean and hold tons of sand and rocks. With the black interior they look pretty good too..

July through Sept. is our monsoon season here but I rather put wear and tear on the all weathers (new style with button fasteners) year round and only use the carpeted mats for special occasions. Black looks fine with charcoal interior.

They do look good. Unfortately, I just ordered some MB all weathers. I may order a set of clear in case they look markedly better.
Funny, on www.thecollection.mbusa.com I kept getting a "discontinued" notice when I tried to purchase all weather mats from there. Anyone else?

I believe the rubber mats come from the dealer parts department now at the same price as thru the mail/the collection. Someone once told me that the newly designed color matching rubber mats from the dealer cover the dead pedal too, but I havent seen these mats.

By dead pedal do you mean the area to the left that people use as a left foot rest?
My MB All Weathers do not cover this area. In my opinion there should be something there, some kind of foot rest.. I end up having my left foot at the bottom of my chair as I do not want to mess my carpet..
I read this in another thread months ago.. Funny how we have floor covers that cover our floor covers to keep our carpet clean..

The original all weathers with the hexagon styling fastened with metal clamps do not cover the dead pedal. However, the newly restyled all weathers with a more modern design include button fasteners not unlike the carpeted mats and cover the dead pedal. I replaced the originals. They kept sliding up under the accelerator pedal because I could never fasten them properly with the metal clamps. The dealer agreed that they were a safety hazard and replaced at no cost.

Do you have a pic of these mats or a link. I would love to get them.
So you remove the OEM mats and click it into the spot (on those cirle buttons) underneath the other mats?
Thanks..
