Guys, my cars steering box was leaked which was causing power steering fluid to get leaked. My mechanic did a repair of the seal in that steering box. After that, my steering has been overturned too much. To drive straight, this is the angle of the steering (pic attached) . Its now showing yellow warning light with exclamation mark in it and 2 messages, "ESP inappropriate" and "cruise control and speedtronic inoperative" and i cant start /set cruise anymore.
My mechanic is saying this steering overturn direction needs to be fixed by car wheel alignment and wheel balancing guys. As soon as steering gets straight, warning light and both messages would disappear. So i have 2 questions now. If u can help to answer?
1. Is it really car wheel alignment and wheel balancing guys job to fix the steering?
OK guys here's the update. Got my steering aligned by wheel alignment and balancing guys, and it fixed both the errors. Cruise is working perfectly fine as well.
