Wobbly Crankshaft Pulley on 2003 MB E500

Where the coolant was coming from?
My 1st guess is that without water pump running, you boiled the coolant and it overflow from tank drain.
But again, I can't stick my head there from here.
Water pump - if this is indeed bad
Belt tensioner - if you have the original one, it is way overdue.
Harmonic balancer - most likely the rubber part has deteriorated over time.
Idler Puller - super inexpensive part but vital to maintain. Replace it while the belt is off
New belt!
You should also check the pulley on the power steering pump along with the pulley on the AC compressor. Both of these are known to go bad over time. While there, might as well give the alternator pulley a wiggle to see if it is still good or has some play or noise.
If you only replaced the water pump, for example, and then put a new belt on the engine, it is possible that there will be some other components that will break again soon. Buy quality parts, either Factory MB or an OEM supplier. You can source them online from FCPEuro and other retailers.
