2004 E320 Wagon
Headliner Color Change

Hello all!

I am brand spankin new to the forum, as in an hour ago! Or as some would say, first time poster, long time reader. Anyway, I wanting to change over my interior headliner and all components to black. I have the headliner picked out (Alcantara) but I need to change over the components such as the interior dome lights and a few others. Anybody know what years of w211's, or possibly w212's I could find the black parts from? I have a 2004 E320 wagon.

Thanks for the help all!!

A suggestion, get a good quality seni-gloss black and spray the current parts. Probably have to them apart such as the lense out of the done light assembly. Clean the parts good with alcohol and then do not touch before painting.

Thank you for the thought, I am trying to avoid painting anything though. I really want those parts to be factory black.

Not sure about the wagon, but the sedan was available with a black headliner. My 2008 E350 has a black headliner, dome lights, visors, etc. I have the pano roof but I'm sure I've seen regular sunroof headliners and accessories in black as well. I'm looking at upgrading to an alcantara headliner with the matching pillars as well if I ever come across a set locally as shipping would be expensive and high risk of damage.

Thank you Andre. I am going to look into that. I am most likely going to buy a new headliner and matching pillars as well, then have a shop do the Alcantara. It's going to be expensive but I think well worth it.
