Adding NAV to 2004 E500

Thinking about adding NAV to my 2004 E500. What is a reasonable price to pay the dealer?

Nothing MB related (sorry)
Don't know what the dealer will charge you. I do know you can check at steve@mbenznl.com for prices, and at www.mbenznl.com for info! And if you happen to live in CA, MBenzNL could do the install for you in September as well...

Forget about the dealer, you'll get more quality work from Steve. The dealer is going to charge you an arm and a leg. especially in labor costs. Either purchase the self install kit from steve or wait till he hits CA again. It's well worth the wait!

The list price on the W211 Navi upgrade is $1895 including labor and the panel kit that will house the DVD drive!

What happened to the $1660 or $1695? Is that the price without labor, or without the trunk liner?

I know Steve's price is lower than $1900, but then dealers might also offer discounts.

1500USD incl. possibly needed trunkliner, installation and version coding...the nav drive is NEW and so are the other parts needed for installation.

My dealer quote around $1600-1700 for GPS upgrade on 04 W211. They would not do it on 03, with explaination that the car eletrical & optical wiring doesn't support it.

It would be a blast to have SteveNL putting a GPS & DVD on a 03 W211 right on the dealer parking lot

As far as price know, I have no idea what else you have to pay for job at dealer. Worst case, I think you may end up paying $100-200 for misc here and there, and no doubt car will be held for at least few days.

For SteveNL quote, that's all you have to pay, and few hours for the job, at most !.
