Srs And Oil Level Faulty Indication

I got twice simultaneous indication on the cluster that oil level display and the SRS system were defective.

The second time it went together with a red low battery warning.

Both time I stopped the car and it went back to normal.

I am going to service the car (once again).

Any similar experience?

Thanks.

My experience has been that if you can clear the warnings with a restart, don't be concerned but advise the dealer the next time you are in. I think it's just a matter of the boot sequence of the computer failing to get some signals from subsystems in a timely fashion.

I had the Oil Level is too full message come on while driving a 300 mile trip.

I called the dealer and spoke with the shop manager. He assured me it was a faulty sensor as they have seen it before. He suggested that at my next gas fill up I measure the oil with the dash. If all check as well and the warning has cleared, it's most definetly the sensor. They replaced it when I got back and have not seen the warning since.
