W211 E320 boomerang alarm system
Hello ,
new guy here that need bit of help please
long story short
w211 2004 E320 4matic
battery drains over 24 h ( car sleeps inside garage )
if I don’t drive my car one day , will never starts next day . How I find out ...
covid19 . Staying home not driving everyday
it’s been more then a week looking /reading all over net including this forum.
answers I did find was about ,
battery check ....I did change ( both of them are new less then 1 y )
alternator ..... battery are being charged when I drive 14.2 V
i disconnected both seats control module to be honest the drains reduced I believe by 50% . How I know that ?
every time I get into my car I was chk. The voltage battery thru the instrument clusters option b4 starting up car. Most mornings battery voltage were 11.6
after removing both seats fuses voltage was 11.8
I live in Montreal QC. Canada and fortunately got a good family member that knows a lot about MBenz.
make the story even shorter yesterday I called him explaining everything... his answer was
“ boomerang alarm system “
this it’s what kills your battery.
i know , ( I believe ) I have boomerang becoz I got the stickers on the driver And passager windows
i Know I have to be more precise about battery drain
by using a digital multimeter that can read amps
and I did find lots of diy how to .....
my Q it’s ...:
can anyone explain / help me to find this boomerang device please ?
i mean what should I look for I don’t have any idea how it’s look like This boomerang device and where most common places they could hide it.
I would really appreciate if someone can help / suggest anything please
