Command purple edges


Is there any way to clean these purple
lines on the edges of command unit?

Yes! No need to replace. Had it on mine where there were some splotches of the purple. It turns out it's an old UV sealant that comes off with age.
To remove it, take some windex and a towel (microfibre or cotton) and spray the windex on the cloth, then use some elbow grease to scrape it off. It may still have some in the corners, in which case you can try jamming the cloth around your fingernail to get in some of those cramped areas, but it should come off in a breeze.

will try it thanks should i rub first with windex or should i spray windex on towel and elbow grease on display?

I'd make sure the windex doesn't have ammonia; that stuff will cloud the plastic.

Looks like anti-glare protection is failing should not be cleaned with products containing Ammonia (Windex). Try plastic polish to gently polish off coating if you want you can then use aftermarket screen protector.

2007 mercedes E350 4 matic
Hello... just going through the same situation .. called Nu Shield gave great advise use Windex with the ammonia.. I used cotton swabs and Que tips . got all mine came out as was directed . Now I'm waiting for a Nu-shield protector .. made for my 2007 e350 .. It looks 100 percent better already cleaned!.. @$16.00 dollars for it shipping @ $5.00...
