Does anyone know what the tint value is for an Appearance Group car? I thought I read somewhere that it is 35 but my car is no where near as dark as fazooley's.

Just got mine done at 20% and it looks awesome, I highly recommend it. My color is peweter with ash inside. Also, 20% is darker than 35%, at least in tint world - I looked at the samples too.

and if you get stoped by NYPD and they can not see you inside, they will bust your side window.

FYI, I can not stand people who put full tint all around those f##$%ig gold shields on the windshield, because drive like a h$%^s.

anytime i have ever been pulled over with tinted windows, i rolled down all the windows so the cops can see into the car for 2 reasons, 1) the tint is illegal and 2) its easens the cops tensions, they are not uncertain approaching your vehicle.
tinted windows in ny is a fine anyway, you just pay it and thats it. you dont have to send proof that you fixed the windows. i cant think of one person i know who got pulled over in nyc for tinted windows solely. i know kids that got pulled over for other reasons and then the cops just added the tickets for the tints as well.

i just got mine tinted at 20% last week and loving it. cant beleive i never tinted any of my cars before.
this thing is addicting. i love the 20% but i want it a little darker, but i sat in my freinds car with the limo tint but didnt like the fact it was hard to see out thru the rear at night.
is their a percentage between 20% and limo tint?
