e500 w211 paddle shift not working

e500 w211 paddle shift not working
Hi guys,
To make the story short i use to have an e55 2004 and for some reason I had to swap the engine, transmission and differential with a e500 version.
My engine now is an e500 with an e500 transmission( with its tcu) and a 2.82 differential.
After this my paddle shifter on the steering wheel stoped working as now I only have S and C, no more M mode.
Is there a way to make this work again by using Star? I cannot afford changing the tcu cause I know that changing it will make things work again.
any idea?

Hi i am not sure but i already read a tread saying with star machine you could program to work with paddle shifter,

Some told me that the tcu is related to the transmission and not the differential and that i should change all the trani to make pedalshifter work again.
