Hello all, so after exhausting research and trying a few things I'm reaching out for other suggestions. I'm aware of DTB P-B-82.95/636a and I've tried the antenna connector corrosion fix which hasn't seemed to help. I've checked both sides plus back up antenna connectors. Driver's side main connector did show a little corrosion which I cleaned, Passenger side less corrosion but a faint amount present so I cleaned it as well, both back-up antenna connectors are as clean as the day they were new. Seeing as I'm getting a "Malfunction" message and not a "Not Active" message I don't believe its the Analog/Digital issue and from what I can find the car does have a digital system . . . I'm going to confirm by pulling the TeleAid unit to get the PN. Plus if it was an Analog unit I certainly should've seen an error long prior to the year 2020.

Any ideas on other things I can try? I dread going to the dealer . . .seems anyone who works at dealership these days knows very little.

Bulletin subject is analog unit but remedy, coding from present to not present, will permanently resolve all Teleaid matters. Locate an independent with MB diagnostics.

Thanks, an independent is my next route I guess. I did confirm the TeleAid unit is digital, saw some conflicting info out there on this year E Class in CDI trim. If anyone is trying to do the same if you VIN decode and have SA 359 you should have a digital unit. Mine happened to be A221 870 08 26.
