Thanks to MbenzNL I was able to upgrade the e500 with rear LED tailights and Euro Impact Strips. As always, everthing arrived packed extremely careful and installation was pretty much a snap. I did however just ziptie up my connectors and leave the bulbs out; is that ok? I get the 2 malfunctions but I really could care less and maybe I'll stop by the dealer and ask them to just turn them off its that possible. Its raining over here but as soon as it slows down I'll post some pics.

I believe if you have a tank, it is the reserve air volume for dynamic multicontour seats. I checked on my w203 with a DAS system, it was not possible to turn the side marker lights off.

As sunman said, there's no simple switch in Star Diagnosis to shut off the bulb warning... but Steve has been playing around and may come up with a solution.

I am thinking to add the command for my 03 E500 with NAVI and DVD playback. WHen are the next time you visit CA? I am in LA and Orange county area. Let me know.

When we installed the euro strips we simply left the bulbs out and zip tied them up right there. We did however forget to cover them with anything; i.e Tape or something like that. Do you think water can get in there and cause some problems? Not sure if we should take them off and tape them up. Also, some people have spoke of using a resistor to kill the warning light. So after reading this on some post on mbklasse, we went over to the local radioshack and they basically looked at us like we had 10 heads. We found the resistor section but it looks like 2 pins? What am I suppose to do with that; lol. If anyone has any suggestion as of what to do to kill the warning I would appreciate it. It's not like the warnings bother me at all, but if I can do a simple fix; why not.

As Scorchie wrote, W211 euro comands are SCARCE and do sell FAST...reserving a comand ca be done by paying a deposit...mail me when interested: Steve@MBenzNL.com
