Airmatic problem!!

Hi, now I don’t know what to do anymore so I hope somebody here could help me. Have scanned the internet but haven’t found any useful help.

A few month ago I bought a w211 originally equipped with Airmatic but the previous owner hade made a coil/spring conversion to it all around. But I hated the ride and wanted the Airmatic back. Soo I bought a set of new bags and air struts and mounted it.

Butt......the car won’t raise at all, the compresor kicks in works good and pumps 14 bars of air In just a couple of seconds (tested and checked vid Star). No air leaks that I can find or hear.
I do get one code and that is 5507 “suspension strut is implausible” but all connections looks good and don’t know what more to look for.

if I use Star I can force the back up a little bit but the front won’t..not even with 19 bars in the system.

and all the level sensors seems to have good readings etc.
have also changed the valve body with pressure sensor from another working Airmatic so it is not that either.

but I am Totalt new with the Star and Xentry so maybe I am missing something I can do??

Try calibration. Won't hurt and takes less than an hour. Inclinometer app on your cell phone, level(!) surface for the tires. Go into STAR, modules, chassis, Airmatic, actuations, initial with manual settings, set inclination angles, confirm sensor voltages are acceptable, confirm settings.

Also, verify Airmatic "present" in Central Gateway Module. Tread carefully in the CGW module as you can "brick" your car if you mess with initial actuations. Only present or not present unless you are a programming genius like Mackhack.
Edit: You can test the valves in the air springs using STAR. What you describe is a non-opening valve in each of the front air springs. That indicates connectivity issue on top or issue with sensor mounted to the upper control arm.

Ok. Will look that up.

i can open the valves on all struts and bags with Star so I don’t think the connection are bad. But still seams like it’s not getting Air into the bags, builds up pressure extremely fast like if it’s just the “hoses” that’s gets air. Takes 5 seconds to go from 6 bar to 13 bar on each strut if I try to raise each one alone. Have no clue what it could be....

If I start the car without doing anything with the Star the car gets up to around 4 bar, then the pump stops and car says car to low.

Can’t lower or raise the car with star

I have the same problem with my E-class from 2005. Have you found out of the problem?
