08 w211 3.5 4matic engine mount

i bought this car less than a month ago, so far, ive replaced the conductor plate tranny fluid all that, come to find out i think my tcc solenoid is going or is bad , and my driver side engine mount is bad the engine jumps under hard hard acceleration

My two questions are
how long can i go with the bad engine mount drivers side? am only looking for two and a half more weeks till in get paid
how long can i go with the tcc solenoid or whatevers making my torque convertor lockup seem weird? its not that bad the rpm only goes down just a bit in first or second gear

i only drive the car to work and back basically 40 km to go and back 4 times a week and dont go out much cause of covid

pls let me know thank you!

You can go a while on the bad engine mount, you'll just feel the vibrations until you replace it. I just did mine again, the bottom bolts were snapped on one and rusted solid on the other so I'd get new bolts too.

As for the tcc solenoid, no idea but I guess you can just drive it til you can't drive it, I don't think it breaks anything if you don't fix it right away. Did you change out the connector/pilot bushing? You also get weird shifts if it starts to wick up transmission fluid.

oh okay I just got the car and when my mechanic did the conductor plate and the conductor plate he told me the mount was split or whatever and I should change it, he told me to do both instead of one but I don’t have the budget for both right now , okay yea changed the bushing as well everything is good on the car expect the mount the vibration is the most when cold but it’s fine once warmed up

The mounts you can get at FCPeruo at about $65 each, they have a lifetime warranty on all the parts they sell. Not that hard to change out, just remove the splash shield in the wheel well to get at them. They also have the transmission mount, but depending on shipping, might be cheaper directly from an MB dealer.

yea i ordered it but since am accross the pond the total cost for me just for the mount came upto like 130 inc tax, called around here in toronto and didnt get anything cheaper than 170 exc tax so it made sense to get it from fcp, once it gets here ill attempt to change it if the weathers still good smh,

thank you for all the help
