Smile E- Class W211 Water Pump Schematic
Torque Specs:
M6 - 10 Nm
M8 - 35 Nm
M10 - 48 Nm


Bolts Quantity:
M6 - 12 (4A-2, 4B-7, 4C-3).
M8 - 5 (4E-1, 4G-2, 4H-1, 4D-1).
M10 - 1 (4I).
Total: 18

Question, i noticed on some of the bolts they are not "Threaded" i assume i need to run taps?
For example
M10 X 1.5 Metric Hand Tap, Right Hand
M8 X 1.25 Metric Hand Tap, Right Hand

I believe there is a video out there stating this information is correct. Thanks in advance.

Is the m10 bolt self tapping ? My new waterpump has also no thread on the double idler fastener. Wis says 68 nm ? (M113k)

I tapped mine but my buddy from mercedes said you can use the bolt to tap...yes self tapping. I personally didn't want to take the chance 😕 so I tapped them
