CD Changer Installed - Labour Costs.
I have called two dealers here and they are saying 1.8 or 2.2 hours to install the CD Changer. Can that be correct? I know the units are prewired already, how in the world could it take this long.
Anyone else have any info re: this?

Remember that the time quoted is from the flat rate manual. Anytime the mechanic comes in in less time than the book, he gets paid for it. The mechanic makes money, the house pushes more cars thru. The job has to be done right though because the mechanic gets penalized for "comebacks".
