Halogen headlight vertical adjust DAS ?

Halogen headlight vertical adjust DAS ?
Must the horizontal adjustment on 211 with normal Halogen low and high beam be height adjusted from DAS and not direct on lamp ?
I can adjust vertical on lamp and also the horizontal, but the horizontal i can not adjust the height enough on adjustment screw, is still to low (i have set the 1-3 manuel dip inside car to highest position)

I’m not sure I follow you. What is DAS? I always thought the lights were adjusted with the screws on the headlamp assemblies. Do your headlights have a motorized adjustment? Maybe that is a European thing that my car does not have in the US.
FWIW, my 2005 E320 CDI headlights seem to be very low and I’ve adjusted them but it hasn’t helped much. I am over 60 years old and my eyes aren’t what they used to be in the dark. I do find the modern LED headlights of other cars are blindingly bright to me.

PS. The eco-friendly wiring has problems with the temperature in the headlight assembly. The insulation has flaked off much of the wiring inside. I coiled some of those spiral nylon wire wraps down inside the assembly to keep from shorting things out.
