2002 E320 ESP visit workshop
Hello Mercedes forum, having issues with my 2002 E320 with ESP visit workshop popping up periodically while adding BAS light to it's display in the lower left hand corner. Car has 228,00 miles. When ESP light comes on after engine is warm, I lose blower motor and turn signals for about 1-2 minutes. Losing these features doesn't happen all the time. Those features come back and ESP light stays on. Sometimes restarting the vehicle removes this error. Installed a new battery and tried the left to right steering reset. Still have the problem.

Switch changed, still showing BAS ESP in lower left hand corner as well as intermediate blower and blinkers. Everything else working fine.
Mechanic suggested EIS causing this error message. Anyone ever here of this before? Very expensive fix.
Update. BAS ESP indicator only comes on after car runs about one hour. Every start after that is a crap shoot.
