I have a case going on now though and i would appreciate some ideas.
The car i have now doesn,t even have the holes on the bumper and really wouldn't wanna drill any either.I got to take a picture for the court with the plate showing. How can i make a picture without drilling holes for the bracket?..double sided tape?? magnet? photoshop???
Thanks Guys.
Anyone agree?

am riding "bareback" here too.... always keep the plate in the car tucked between the seat and center hump... you can always see it if you look into the car... have been stopped once going into the tunnel... told the guy I had been smacked up front and that the dealer had forgotten to order the bracket... "I mentioned that I was all thumbs when it came to screw drivers and would get it back on as soon as possible!"
most of the Bentleys and exotics seem to not have them on in the city... figure it is more the "frontal appreciation" attitude of the sales manager at manhattan motorcars.
any other more "pedestrian" car has the plate bracket put on automatically at the entry point for NJ, NY, and CT.. I'm sure the dealers can get "knicked" for not putting the plate on when they sell the car. My car came from a dealer down in South Jersey... and I was lucky that it had never been licensed and "plated"..(guess they figure people in MD buy cars there and don't want the stupid bracket aleady mounted on the car!) It is enough of an issue for me that I would buy my car outa state just to bypass having holes drilled into my bumper!!
Never mind the front plates... its beyond me how DMV departments can come up with such fugly inspection or registration stickers in such disgusting color combinations for the front windshields.
