Not sure what that is on the dipstick, but that's a non-starter for me.
Where are you located and what's your budget? And why an E350, out of curiosity?
Use the forums to help you shop. I found my E63 without knowing much about them, wish I shopped w the people here first. Car is good, but damn I've done a lot of work to it and am still doing work.
I did use the knowledge on this forum to find my G55 and it's a night a day experience knowing what you're walking into.
just looking for a good road car

My suggestion is don't fall in love with an old low mileage car. There's a lot of differred maintainance you're going to have to catch up on. Find an earlier E320 or E500 with service history, regardless of the mileage. Those engines regularly go 400k+ miles. The E350 just doesn't. It's nowhere near as reliable.
There are enough of these cars out there that have been maintained properly, I'd keep looking. Just avoid the 06-07 model year E350s due to the balance shaft issues.
