2003 E500 P0705 Help!
Hello! I currently own a 2003 E500. Recently I’ve been having an issue where it’s randomly been staying in 1st gear, and not being able to shift past neutral into Reverse or Park, without letting off the brake and using the parking brake. It also starting throwing a P0705 code, which has to with the transmission range sensor. A little while ago there was a spill in the shifter area, and I’ve read this is a common thing to happen as a result. Could someone possibly show pictures or explain how and where I might find this specific sensor or board in the shifter so I can give it a good spray with electrical cleaner? Thank you very much!
