P0546 Code

Ok guys. I plugged a cheap scan tool in that I borrowed from a friend. Code, P0546. Bank 1 sensor 1. This code happened after running down the highway at about 80ish for 10 minutes or so. Should I clear it run the car normal and see what happens? Car runs and sounds normal.

Try clearing the code and see if the light stays off. Happened with me.

Reset the code. Drove it for 9 miles. Shut the car off, started it back up and the code was back. So it is time to change the sensor. First question, location? Is it upstream from the cat? Second question, any brand better than others? Thanks

Original is probably Bosch. I got some Walker ones on Rockauto for about $50 on clearance. Put them in a few months ago and they seem fine. Sensor 1 is usually upstream and 2 is downstream.

Ok I am back to this damn code. I bought a icarsoft CR Pro. Wanted something to more than one car. Other than the generic code P0546. When I run the diagnostic I get 2660-001. Component B19/11 upstream of turbo. I changed the the EGT sensor upstream of the O2 sensors. What a pain to get to the wiring. Everything looked good. So where is component B19/11? Any help would be great.

You guys here are the best. Not sure where you find the pictures. But I am thankful. Finding the correct part was a little painful but I will start the job soon. Part # 000-905-38-05-MBZ

All set car runs fine code clears. Lesson learned use a good code reader. Not sure why no one makes an aftermarket sensor for bank one. The one in the turbo housing. MB part shipped $100.
Thanks for all the help.

Hey guys, i also have the exact same code p0546. Whenever i erase it and then turn the car on and off twice it comes back. It has been like this for a while now, however i am not sure which sensor is it exactly (i am not really into repairing the car myself). Could you please send me a link or show me which sensor is it exactly so i can buy it here immediately and have it replaced? Also i have another question but it is out of topic... My center console speaker is the only one that works. Sometimes i would steer more suddenly and the front side speakers would start working too (from what i know, my amplifier must be replaced) but i repainted my car and since the repaint, only the center console speaker is working and it sounds awful like that. Could you advise me what should i do? I can get a second hand amplifier but will that fix the issue?
