2005 E320 CDI will not start or respond to the keys
2005 E320 CDI will not start or respond to the keys, I can't even turn the key in the ignition. It's acting as if both of my batteries are dead.

If batteries are fine and keys were fine and now both keys react the same, problem could be EIS (ignition switch). Definitive diagnose need to pull codes. Try cleaning key & EIS contact points with rubbing alcohol. Also, if steering wheel is fully locked try to forcibly release.
