E55 to E63 OEM Facelift Conversion Problem

Hi all,

I am wanting to carryout an OEM face lift to my 2003 E55 AMG but having problems getting quotes.

Turns out I need a chassis number for a genuine 2007 E63...Can anyone help?

I want to upgrade the front bumper and grill
Also the headlight units - I would ideally like to have the best and brightest lights which were available at that time with the active cornering technology.

Naturally this means I need a chassis no for a 2007-2008 E63 which had that spec so I can approach Mercedes for a quote.
They say they cant help without this and local specialists also can only quote me using chassis numbers they have on file so the lights don't meet the spec I was hoping for.

Can anyone help or make any suggestions to help me on my way?
Thanks in advance

Do you just need one of our VINs?

Are you trying to piece everything up?

If you have one theRealBarryC that would be ideal.

Then I can give to my local MB dealership who can get me a quote to order the parts in the colour using my paint code.

Then I simply install them and I am away

Hellah fresh I have a comprehensive list other members shared of every piece needed to build but with a VIN from a genuine E63 amg I can simply order the complete set from Mercedes and save myself a ton of time and effort.

Time is a luxury I get very little of sadly - But the job which steals it pays for these OEM upgrades so what ya gonna do?!

I’ve done this conversion in my old 211 wagon along with a Diesel engine swap. It’s pretty straightforward. Just get a vin from a used car site.

Would you be willing to share the list of parts needed for the face-lift conversion? I have E55 that I'm planning onto convert to E63 front end after I got backed into last week. The problem I ran into with lists that I've found is that some of the part numbers do not match the numbers at a dealer any more.
Thank you in advance.

I'm going to resurrect this thread.
I'm in a process of doing a facelift on my 06 E55 to E63 front end. I got all of the parts from a MB dealer but I ran into a problem. One on the outer grills came from a dealer as a mesh, the other came as a solid plastic (like it came from a compatible model but not from E63).
You can see the pictures below of what I'm talking about.

Dealer said that the parts are from E63:
2118851753
2118851853
Can anyone confirm that these are the correct part numbers?

Thanks

Update:
so, after going back and forth with parts department, they are now claiming that E63 front end comes from a factory as a solid plastic, not a see-through mesh... Ahhh, how did they sell me Rt side as a mesh then???

Maybe because the E63 is normally aspirated and doesn’t need that piece to be mesh. On the right side. Our E55’s have additional coolers and such.

Thanks for taking your time to respond.
Maybe so, but it seems so out of norm for a vehicle that cost almost 100k to be so cheap.
That's why I've posted here, hoping to have some people with E63 cars chip in.
