Mudflaps?

Anyone have them? Any real benefit? I haven't noticed any from the set on my mom's current car... Be interested to know others' opinions.

I personally believe the Mercedes-Benz mudflaps are a brilliant option and the most important option that I always insist on having.

They are inobtrusive and protect the bodywork from being assaulted from debris thrown up by the tyres.

I have mud-flaps on both the front and rear of the vehicle.

Bye for now,
John

My previous C280 didn't have mud flaps for the first couple of years and the quarter panels and doors always had tar and mud on them. After I found the correct part numbers and purchased the mud flaps, the problem was much less severe. This time, I ordered the mud flaps when we bought the E320 and even though there still is some mud and tar kicked up around the mud flaps, the quarter panel and doors stay much cleaner. The fit of the mud flaps is quite good - they do look like they were designed to fit the E and the installation isn't difficult. It takes longer to jack up a corner of the car and remove the wheel than to install the mud flap. The instructions are quite detailed and complete.

Mudgaurds

I wouldn't have a MB without mudgaurds.

I have just had a picture taken of our car with its mudflaps. They are certainly not obtrusive and indeed can hardly be seen.

Good luck with your decision
