MallChick -- good luck with your choice. Whatever you decide, you have narrowed it to two great alternatives and I'm sure that you will be happy with either. Sorry that you had a bad experience on this forum. Most of the contributors are helpful, informative, and often entertaining.

Sorry, from what you said, it sounded like you went out and bought one over the weekend. Hey, at least were not a bunch of uptight "where do you summar, muffy" types. You probably got off on the wrong foot (or us) but I'm sure you will like the W211 let alone this board.

If I had the $$$ - I'd be driving an SL.

Only needs better rims and a slight ride height drop and that's it.

Absolutely stunning.

Hehehe, at least, this thread is entertaining. You are cracking me up!

Perhaps you may want to reevaluate your pursuit of a law profession. A lawyer would communicate succinctly. A lawyer would never leave his credibility in doubt. A lawyer would do his own homework instead of depending upon others, whom he doesn't even know, to do it for him.

...,the SL was the other car I was going back-and-forth with, so based on what I experienced here, I think my final decision is now to go for the SL.
Hahaha! You could probably fill in for John Stewart of the Daily Show. He's good at keeping a strait face while saying the most ridiculous and hilarious things.

So, let's see, quality, performance, and style of a car does not matter. Instead, the way posters react to your comments on an Internet message board is the decisive factor for the purchase of a luxury automobile.

But then again, its my mistake to even register and participate on this forum.
Hmm...perhaps you may need thicker skin?

Also, one point to consider: as a law student, you should know the power of context, delivery of the message, WORDING, and missinterpretation thereof.

When your heading is "Where do I start?" and the first thing you say is Well I got myself a benz over the weekend (how I interp) and I think its ugly.. it seems like the heading means where do I start about the bad stuff, not on how to start looking for aftermarket stuff. Probably why people were standoff-ish.

We get a few trolls on here, and sometimes we get deffensive!

Me thinks MallChick is just that -- a braces-wearing teenaged mall chick trolling her Benz dreams on this message board while taking a break from the typical teenage chat room. However, I could be wrong. If I am, I feel sorry for MallChick.

You seem to be attacking at a personal level... so this is specifically for you.

You are a prime example of people who should not exist in this world. Perhaps you will need to go back to school and revisit your studies (if you did go to school) pertaining to reading and comprehension. An intellectual type, unlike you, reads twice, between the lines, and responds once.

But then again, if you think or believe that you are better than me (or anybody else in this board), then you will be driving something better than an E-Class, especially with the limited options you have.

BTW - is your car paid for in cash? or is it financed?

Come on everybody

Life is tooo short for this

Here are the top nine comments made by NBC sports commentators so far
during the Summer Olympics that they would like to take back:

1. Weightlifting commentator: "This is Gregoriava from Bulgaria. I saw her
****** this morning during her warm up and it was amazing."

2. Dressage commentator: "This is really a lovely horse and I speak from
personal experience since I once mounted her mother."

3. Paul Hamm, Gymnast: "I owe a lot to my parents, especially my mother and
father."

4. Boxing Analyst: "Sure there have been injuries, and even some deaths in
boxing, but none of them really that serious."

5. Softball announcer: "If history repeats itself, I should think we can
expect the same thing again."

6. Basketball analyst: "He dribbles a lot and the opposition doesn't like
it. In fact you can see it all over their faces."

7. At the rowing medal ceremony: "Ah, isn't that nice, the wife of the IOC
president is hugging the *** of the British crew."

8. Soccer commentator: "Julian ****s is everywhere. It's like they've got
eleven ****s on the field."

9. Tennis commentator: "One of the reasons Andy is playing so well is that,
before the final round, his wife takes out his ***** and kisses them...
Oh my God, what have I just said?"

Please lets just share a

John

Try a 24 year old law student who also runs a family owned business - one of the more prominent golf courses in Southern California.

Cool! Which one? I'm a golf fanatic. I was just down there playing Pelican Hill and Torrey Pines. Pelican Hills is a beautiful course, but Torrey Pines, although nice, is has a Muni-ish feel to me! I also like a lot of the courses in Temecula.
