W211 Rear seats wont engage
Hi team!
I have just purchased a beautiful W211 with folding rear seats, which work fine, however the cushions do not appear to "click" back to the base to lock back down. The release lever remains ajar...
I have tried pushing the cushions "in", sitting on them, etc. they dont seem to want to lock back in.
I have done a search but couldn't find reference to this issue - wondering if anyone can help?

I had a closer look to understand how it works. Good news - appears to be user error...
Important tip when folding the cushion back down is that it folds on a hinge first, then pushes back into the locking mechanism. Make sure to 'fold' before 'pushing back' - two distinct movements.
