So who's used BenzNinja?

He just deletes his threads when I've asked questions on what services he offers in greater detail....so I'll just make a thread myself then since transparency doesn't seem like something he wants to show.
All his (5) star reviews are from MBWorld he says....

So where are the real users here? What's your experience?

I have his system it does work, he helps you with your needs. You can't post services and fees because you will get barred from this site. (Chris the swead) was blocked. Benz the ninja is ligimate. And a beast with knowledge. He's in Puerto Rico I think. When you ask a question there is a delay in reply.

Only been a week for me; I am, however, very satisfied. Even with the time difference, he usually responded to my messages within minutes. Grant him access to the system and go about your day (or weekend in my case). He will message you when complete. I know enough about software to be very impressed watching him work via TeamViewer. I recommend highly.

2011 SL R230 Summer fun car only
I've used BenzNinja!

I joined the benzninja club a few months ago, I got the DTM software installed on my 2011 SL, a first class job which is an excellent upgrade. Since then Peter has done a few coding jobs for me, all perfect. I've spoken to him a few times and find him to be great bloke. Even when I ask him stupid questions at 11pm he always replies in a helpful manner.
So, do I recommend his service ?.....absolutely 100% but remember that the man has to earn a living so I guess 20 questions without paying the reasonable fee to join the club may not result in the answers you require......

I use his service, so far no problems, I'm new to the complexity of owning/maintaining a Benz and he is being helpful. Like somebody else mentioned even with the time difference he is replies timely.

I am sorry that you have a negative experience with Peter (BenzNinja), perhaps and hopefully it’s just a miscommunication. I am a real user and his customer, and I can highlight my tremendously positive experience with Peter.

In January of 2020, I was in search for a provider of a solid Xentry system, because in the past, I purchased a system from eBay’s Chinese vendor. The quality was really poor and I spent hundreds to fix it. Then I found another vendor but experience was similar to Chinese one, very poor.

Then, I came across the add for BenzNinja services here on the forum. I called him asking questions. I was quite hesitant due to bad experience with another vendors. Peter was very patient with all of my questions and answered all of them. In fact, he is the ONLY vendor that I know of, that would talk to you in person, and not just texting you poor answers.
Anyway, I became his customer and that changed my MB ownership to the most pleasant and exciting experience. Today, I was able to transform my stock SL550 to almost AMG-like vehicle, and Peter did it remotely for me. Being Peter’s customer, I feel that I have a connection to the most advanced MB technical support specialist, with unlimited access to technology on one side and passion to his customers on the other side. Just read R230 forum on his ABC AMG Nurnburgring tuning...
That is my personal experience with BenzNinja and I am happy with it!

I have used Peter several times and multiple cars. He is always available (at least it seems like it). Very polite, and patient for all the mistakes I seem to make. He has saved me a ton of money. Very satisfied customer.

I've used BenzNinja extensively. He has my highest recommendation for any MB services. I used to go it alone with a limited use Autel for a long time. But when I got into the complex systems of my S65, SL55 and SL65 with the hydraulic suspensions and double batteries, I sought the help of BenzNinja. He knows the MB systems and knows how to properly diagnose problems. I can honestly say he's saved me thousands of dollars. You can check out my older posts on the X164 forum with my GL450. I sure wish I had his help back then. I replaced both front air shocks before I realized that it was an electrical problem with the air compressor. He can remotely diagnose your car if you get a computer and software. Feel free to PM with any other questions.

Highly Recommend

I subscribed in March shortly after buying an SL55, He has been an incredible help. He has literally saved me thousands of dollars, by being able to avoid the dealership. He has set me up to connect to the car at any time, and he will remote into the PC that is connected to the car if you like. He will teach if you want, or just do the work for you.
I took a quick look at my messages with Peter, there are hundreds, and probably 20 phone calls. He has helped me with TPMS, he helped me fix a throttle body issue that was stranding me in the car in "limp mode", he helped me diagnose a faulty pass side engine SAM, helped me source a used one, and copied the codes into the replacement SAM.
For me, I would not keep my car if it wasn't for the help I get from him. It was $400 ish plus hardware, including a laptop for approx $1000 all in, it is worth twice that for me. I don't want the car off the road for a week at a time while I research and comb the forums, I want expert help at a great price, and Peter has supplied that.
He also upgraded the software for the trans and braking and steering. Turned a 15 year old Seniors car into a luxury sports car.

Peter has been around for a while now, and I got one of his first installs. Peter has through the years helped me a lot with updating and add features to my car. He has numerous times updated my software, for free, and installed both AMG cluster and Nürburgring suspension software. To me Peter is a great bloke, making things possible, and in regard to maintenance I would not for anything in the world miss his software.

@ps2cho, I don't know what you are up too, but I for my part can only, in full and honest, recommend Peters service.

What he does is a bargain, compared to the value added.

Another one to add to the list of 100% recommend Peter. Always helpful and gets back to you in a timely manner. Whatever you think you save on your own trying to get your own system going will quickly be lost when it breaks and you don't know how to fix it not to mention all the time you would waste. Never have I ever regretted even for a second paying for Peter's services.

I read the positive reviews on BenzNinja when considering investing in the Xentry for my W212, last year. All the great reviews proved true. Peter is responsive and knowlegable. You can not get a better resource for MB Diagnostics.
I highly recommend him. It's not surprising that there are no legitimate negative comments.

I have been a member or whatever the proper terminology is, for a little less than a year. I have contacted the gentleman at the other end via Skype too many times to number. He has yet to fail to diagnose any issue that I have presented him with. I have a 97 S500 Coupe, a 98 Sl 500 Sport version and a 04 SL600 V12 Bi Turbo. So far we have focused primarily on the SL 600 getting it in perfect condition for the 1200 mile road trip I have just returned from, without any issues. Even when I called or sent a text forgetting about the 6 hour time difference, he has always responded. I find him to be extremely knowledgeable and professional and the membership fee, in my opinion, is well worth the cost.

Peter provides a valuable service on a level that we rarely see. Time is money and he saves us a lot of time in learning how to use our SDS to the fullest. I too had my SDS for several years and I had the same challenges in keeping it working properly while learning all the functions. His friendly manner and availability are uncommon in todays world. I must say that other users on MBWorld are fantastic but Peter provides a service that goes to the next level. In the end he provides value to us.

I have been using an iCarsoft CR V2.0 for about a year. It works and the cost is low. It is user-friendly for anyone who can run a laptop. I do service and repair for a living on Mercedes-Benz and other Eurocars and the CR can have about 9 different makes software on it so you get a-lot for your money.

However, my focus is Benz and I wanted the full capability to go deep into systems. I contacted Benzninja and purchased a Star Diagnostic C4 from China upon his recommendation and joined the club. I am very impressed with his service and support. The setup requires many hours of downloading software and is not for amateurs, believe me. Benzninja know his stuff and you more than get your money's worth. Xentry and HHT are loaded onto my Lenovo ThinkPad 230 and runs very well. You NEED assistance to use this system! You will waste time and money trying to work it all out for yourself. It is NOT like modern software that is all intuitive and easy, but more like a crude video game from the 1980s. the laptop has a 512Gb SSD and i5 processor and is dedicated to Xentry and HHT and can not be used for anything else--NO WEB SURFING! I am very happy with Benzninja and will recommend his service to any who ask.

Cliff notes version: Not only I am 100% satisfied…he also knocks customer service out of the park!

Seriously, he’s a freaking genius and I have never had a better experience than I have with his product, his responsiveness and his knowledge.

If you would like your own Xentry system that works 100% perfectly and are not comfortable with China junk or don’t have the skills to work out the kinks like some can do …Benzninja is your guy.
This is a turn key system he downloads it all via team viewer. Sit back and prepare to be amazed. Oh and of course he also coded new modules for me…kept me out of the dealer and saved me time and money. Not to mention the satisfaction of being involved.

Happier MB’ing thanks to Benzninja!

Regarding the service of Benzninja: My full recommendations, without hesitation.
Both his advice regarding hardware and help with installing on a laptop that gave some extra trouble, can only be regarded as TOP service.
After owning and using the system for one week now, I dare to say this is the best diagnose system available to non-MB technician.
On top of that, you get Peter!
He has been a great help and has also great knowledge of our cars.
Even when you say that he can respond to a question at a moment that fits him best, he still responds promptly.
What more can you want?
This diagnose system gives me the confidence to buy a R231 in the near future, making me Independent from my local dealers, that have very little experience with SL-models themselves.
Again, highly recommended!

I too am a big fan of Benzninja. I was just mesmerized watching my ThinkPad being run by this guy in France! What a job he does! You must keep in mind that it is 6 hours later in France so get your communication done early in the morning out of respect for his need for sleep.

I’m as real as it gets…not soup **** real but close! Lol

Peter is easy to communicate with, very professional and supports almist any hour of the day. He has done custom work for me on all 3 of my AMG’s and even helps research crazy new ideas to tell me how or if it can be accomplished.

He supports upgrades and much more as
part of his service! No complaints in over 2 years. He’s not just vendor but also an Mercedes & AMG enthusiast.

Not only does he answer my calls when it is late by him (Western Europe) but he gives me, and Max, a definite solution and /or the time when we should call back.
I own 7 Benz's and the man is amazing!
So, since I do not do this on-line thing much when ever I try to put in my phone number or email it does not allow me to.
I stand by what I have said,
