W211 4Matic Front Lower Control Arm Help
Hi all, I need to replace the front lower control arm bushings on my S211 E500 4Matic. I'd like to do the entire control arm, as I fear the lower strut mount bushing is also bad, and is not serviceable. However, the cost of these is absurd - the cheapest I can find for new arms is $750 for the pair. PN's 2113307507 and 2113307607. Does either 1) someone have a new set lying around they don't need, or 2) have a source on cheaper parts? (They're between $350-400 each on all the "MB OEM Parts" websites).

I think if you search the old threads, the consensus is to just replace the bushings, otherwise as you found, they're really expensive. Try the usual places like rockauto for the bushings and you just press them out.

Unfortunately that is the market price for those arms. I do recommend replacing the whole arm as the ball joint does go bad. Since you will be spending a good chunk of money, you might as well get a lifetime warranty out of a new replacement part. Check out FCPEuro. But then again, maybe not as their price is much higher than what you are finding?
