Stuck in 1st gear ?!

Hey Everyone! Long time lurker here in the forums, never had anything to really post about. I have a 2008 E350 4Matic with 98,000 miles, and just recently it has developed some transmission issues. At 95,000 miles, I had the transmission fluid flushed and changed (along with a copious amount of other services) but just now am having the issue. Randomly (has happened four times now) the transmission will get stuck in first gear when I take off from a stop, will be driving and shifting fine then all of a sudden it won't. I have now noticed when this happens, the C/S button becomes disabled, manual shift mode is disabled, and the only way to fix it is pulling over, putting the vehicle in park, and restarting the car. The first time this occurred last week I thought it was user error, haha, but then it happened again this week, and three more times today. I was wondering if anyone else has had similar issues like this? I read on other posts it could be the auxiliary battery or even a conductor plate? I had a check engine light on for the intake manifold (which I replaced two weeks ago) but there was a stored code under the ABS module as well that said something to do with "PCM Transmission not communicating", I will see if I can find the exact words and update the thread. Going to be taking the car to my Mercedes mechanic this weekend as I have no idea what this could be. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!

You should change out the connector, easiest fix if it fixes it. Otherwise it might be the conductor plate. But scanning it and getting the codes will help narrow it down.

The only code I was able to pull from the car was "DTR: CAN signal 'Target/Actual Gear" From Control Unit Transmission Control Module Is Implausible" under the ABS module, nothing is stored currently under the other modules. Does this help my case at all?

Just wanted to update this thread if anyone comes across it, indeed needed to change the conductor plate, which I wanted to avoid, but the car has been flawless since!
