Two Buttons on the Rear Ceiling Light

There are two buttons on the rear ceiling light fixture that don't seem to do anything at all (these are not the map lights). Does anyone know what they do?

This might help’ pulled it off another thread. For the record, thanks go to DWP.

The ambient light is controlled by large square buttons on the pod itself, unlike the front pod, which is controlled from the Settings menu. The rear passengers should also get footwell ambient light from the courtesy lights at the rear of the front seats, or so I'm told.

Press & hod one at a time. They do not work instantaneously, but they are dimmer up & dimmer down buttons for the ambient light (oval) feature.

A TOTALLY undocumented feature.
