I'd personally go with Pewter/Charcoal. Obsidian Black/Charcoal is also great, but it's a bitch to keep looking great. You could spend hours getting that perfect shine, and end up driving through an area where there is road construction abound and get a sheen of dust all over your vehicle, or some idiot in front of you could use his window washers which could spray on your car, etc, etc. It's enough to drive someone insane. INSANE, I TELL YOU!!!

Platinum Blue/Ash, Charcoal, or Pacific Blue. I still love the color, but it has become a lot more common in my area. I also like, just for the rarity factor, Granite Grey, and designo Mocha Black.

I hope I didn't make a mistake (platinum blue w/stone); it's not very popular here.

My favorite color is . . . Capri Blue. You've got to see it in person. The chips in the books are nothing close. Its a deep purplish blue, alomots black from some angles. with Ash interior. Second choice: Tectite -- too bad they dropped it.

I am very pleased with my Granite Grey and get a lot of compliments on it but after seeing the Platinum Blue's on these forums, I would have had a tough decision if I had seen a Platinum Blue before I ordered the car.

I find your answer ****** "definitely not concise and are only marginally clear"****** (this is my attempt at humour and not a criticism)
Your reply to the 'Manual' thread was very good.

Well if it is of any help, at the European Delivery Center in Sindelfingen, the E Class on display is Platinum Blue. That was also the favored color in the 211 E Class's launch advertising and brochures.
