Strut/spring Sport suspension OE
Pulled this strut off the front right, and can’t find any record of the part number. I’ve already decided on Bilstein B8 as replacements, but wanted some sage advise from anyone here that might have an answer to this curiosity.
Pulled this spring, also off the front right. Green and yellow dots, found on mbparts.com
Listed as “does not fit”, had to search “1xgreen/1xyellow”. Found it a few pages in.

So what's the question?
Part numbers get superseded and/or the part number your referencing is not the assembly that MB provides as a replacement. The latter happens with parts that are a composite of individual parts.

Just that I find it odd that no part number is in the catalog, or even on the internet.
I did find several superseded part numbers, but not mine specifically. My guess is that it is common enough that my part number has been bumped out of succession?

Did you get a copy of EPC on ebay and punch in your vin to see what the part number for the strut is? I've used Bilstein B4 which is supposed to be more of an OEM replacement. I believe Sachs was the OEM maker of the strut, but even Sachs is about double the price of the Bilstein and Bilstein has a lifetime warranty. For the spring, you use the color code on the spring.
