stalling when AC ON

stalling when AC ON
Hello All,
My E240 (2005) engine stalls when the Air Conditioning is on.
It stalls at low speeds when coming to a hump or making a turn.
I changed the air mass and cleaned the throttle just today. - The problem existed before the service -
I was checking the battery/alternator voltage from the dash,
when the AC on at idle: 13v - 13.9v
when AC off at idle: 13v - 13.9v
when AC on at high speeds: 13.9v - 14.1v
when AC on at low speeds: 12.5v - 13v
I noticed that the car stalls or kicks down when the voltage is less than 13v at low speeds.
Just to note, when the AC is off at low speeds the voltage remains normal ( 14v ).
So to me, the alternator and battery are working well. might be a problem with the AC that causes the stalling?
Also, the AC started acting just today, when I switched it ON the engine fans worked but there's no air coming out from the vents and making a weird noise. It worked after several tries.
Any recommendations on what to do next?
