Which dealers are discounting CDI's??

I have read a few post of dealers discounting CDI's. Even on a ED CDI there was a discount of $1200. My question is which dealers and where are they doing this. Thanks in advance for your help!!

Are you aware of California rules concerning the CDI? If not, then I suggest you start a thread to find out and get some help.

I am aware of the rules, however I do have a out of state residence and have a CDI on order. So California laws do not apply in this case. Besides the question I was asking was about dealers that were discounting, not about california law.

Exclamation That's Telling 'Em!

There is a would be stealership up North that has four (Starmark Certified) used CDIs 'available' at higher
than new MSRP pricing. And all have exactly 7500 miles!
They evidently went to the auctions back East and figured to make a 'killing' out here because of our stupid rules!
Carfax reports are available on each.

You are going ED which will give you a 7 percent discount. Order yours ED through a savvy dealership here in CA or anywhere else for that matter, and that will give you even more, and then have the car shipped from Germany to a dealer in whichever state you'll be using. You also do not pay the $720 delivery charge.
It all adds up doesn't it?

Check with Marcus Benz at the House or Haemmer at Escondido and get the correct information from them.
One would think that most dealerships in CA would be willing to do this as it is pure profit they will make for only doing paperwork.

RT to Germany is less than $700;The extra savings make the trip worthwhile, don't you agree?

Please let us know if you locate a swinging dealership.

Thanks for all the info, I will keep you posted. I work for an airline so I can get to Germany for about $200 RT. I think that it is much smarter to do a ED not only because you are getting a great deal, you also get to see a different part of the world. Its all about the experience.
