Replacing the Side Marker

I have a 2004 E320. Had a minor fender bender and when I got home, I realized the entire passenger side side market piece is missing. The bumper is fine, but the plastic insert (with the chrome detail plus the side marker) is literally gone. The only thing is the wire to what was the bulb.

It's an old car and I don't mind the bumper looking kind of beat up. I don't want to report it to the insurance and have my rates go up. Is it possible to actually order the plastic insert piece and "snap" it in (along with the right bulb? Or is that a bad idea and I should take it to a professional?

Thanks.

Search part # 2118800812. Post VIN if you want me to supply color code. In addition you will need bulb 000000000853 & socket 0005400966.
