Mercedes E280 (om648 )cdi do not want to start
Well here is something that is playing me a trick
The car will not start
It will run on starter motor
fuel pressure to high pressure CP3 pump is more than 4 bar
Rail pressure 6 bars, should be something like 300-400bar for starting
fault code in cdi system is 2641-8 B60 exhaust gas pressure senor fault stored and current, having trouble finding it it physically somebody know where it is please let me know, has dismantle box for air filter but can not find it.
stupid as I am I did change B28/8 DPF differential pressure sensor thinking it was the B60 senor, when that is wrong it give different sensor fault, I do not know if this will block the pump from stating give fuel.
I did take of one fuel line from rail to injector and put on a transparent tube to se fuel flow since i did suspect air first, when running it on the starter motor it first come a lot but after a short wile it comes very little fuel, to little in my experience, I have some car with the om648 engine but not with particle filter.
.
CP3 pump has ben change and did come from a engine I know did work before just to be sure, original pump has same symptom of not giving fuel
I do not understand if something is blocking the CP3 pump to let it start give fuel
When cp3 was changed, a new fuel filter was put in and was pump full of fuel.
Have been sitting looking and searching but can not find something that will match this fault
some tips would be highly appreciated

I dont think you know what you are doing but never the less the B60 exhaust gas pressure sensor is just that in the exhaust not in air box or engine but the exhaust. My suggestion is take the car to a proper mechanic who knows diesels and has the diagnostic systems

Dear Plutoe can you please develop why you think I do not Know what I am doing?
regarding the B60 sensor, you could of just said: The exhaust gas back pressure sensor is located at the left rear of the engine compartment, in the exhaust gas recirculation channel in front of the exhaust gas recirculation positioner (Y27/9).
That would really help much More

Have change B60 sensor so now there are no fault code in the cdi 3 system. When you running starter motor you can se control valve in high pressure pump (Y94) is open 47% but I guess signal (PWM) is lost to the pump so it does not give fuel.
Somebody know exactly how you make this pump open the controll Y94 valve, what you need to feed it with or what to do?
Since icon of glow plugs working at starts up when running starter motor all parameters should be met for start just no fuel pressure.

Just out of curiosity I went to see what my car does with the quantity control valve (Y94) at the start. It was around 33 to 38% when engine started, and when I revved the engine to the 2200 rpm it was about 12-13%.
Also, engine shut the rail pressure was around 7 bars, and it started at 180 bars.
