Need help identifying a part

I found this plastic part in the cabin of my 2008 E300 a while ago. I've searched all over the car to try and find out where it goes but have not been successful. Can someone please help me by telling me where this plastic cover goes? The stamped part number appears to be A 231 823 01 22.

Very sorry, blame tired eyes and poor lighting. Put it under a microscope and the following two numbers are embossed. A211 923 01 22 and 70 03 00 03. Manufacturing date Nov 2007.

You may want to fold the rear seat on both sides and look for a missing cover (supposedly passenger side)

Following up: Found that the part fits over the hinge positioned between the back seat right and left halves. Its installed now again. Thanks.
