Headlamp wiring harness repair/replace
Hi Guys,
Has anyone ever repaired or replaced the wiring harness for their E 350 headlamps? the wires on my vehicle's harness have become exposed at the connector.
Both the dealer and an indy shop have told me only complete replacement of the entire headlamp assemblies is possible at a cost of $1900 (dealer) and $1600 (indy shop).
Any input or your experience appreciated. Thank you.

Appreciate the input.
I'm comfortable with repairing or replacing the wiring from a DIY POV. The access however, especially on the driver's side, is terrible. The videos I've checked out seem to suggest front bumper removal is necessary, that may be beyond my knowledge/skills/ability.
