So, I had the airmatic compressor replaced. The tech scanned that system and the trans as well. Everything within spec. Cost to scan the two systems Xentry Star @ $150. Dealers wanted upwards of $300 for a complete diagnosis, so I suppose this was fair.

But thanks, Senecat, for your kind comments. I actually received similar input from a neighbor whose, it turns out, both parents are alcoholics.
