Easy Entry/Exit not working as intended

Title explains it all really. At random earlier today, the easy entry/exit function stopped working fully. It works partially. Putting the key in, the column adjusts to the chosen position, and if the seat is back, the seat goes to the position it's set to. However, open exiting, the column goes back up, the seat doesn't. Manually moving it back using the controls works fine, and like above, it goes forward to the set position when you get back in and put the key back in the ignition.

Is there a way to reset easy entry/exit or fix the issue? We can't think of anything that would have caused it. We parked up, got out, bought things from the shop and it stopped working correctly when we got back.

Didn't help - Followed instructions exactly as read. The memory function stopped working on ours. It won't save any position. It'll only call back previously stored ones.

E55 AMG - Early 2004. UK. If you need the VIN, I'll go outside and copy it if needed.

Didn't help - Hall Sensors were still connected correctly. Memory Function has returned, though. Still won't adjust the seat for Easy Entry/Exit
